The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification for RRB Level 1 recruitment 2019. The number of open vacancies this year is 1,03,769, which is a huge opportunity for all government job aspirants to fulfill their dreams. RRB Level 1 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates aged from 18-33 can apply for the RRB Level 1 examination 2019. The education qualification required to apply for the vacant posts is class 10 and 12 qualified. No prior work experience is required to apply for the vacant positions.

RRB Level 1 Exam Pattern 

The RRB Level 1 exam will be conducted pan  India in 3 stages. The first round will be a written test, the exact date for the same will be notified soon. On qualifying the first round, candidates need to appear for the physical eligibility test and get their documents verified.

For the written exam, the duration will be 90 minutes and there will be 100 questions from the following sections:

  • General Science-25 question
  • Mathematics-25 questions
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning-30 questions
  • General awareness and current affairs-20 questions

RRB Level 1 Exam Application Fee

An application fee of Rs.500 is required to be paid by every candidate. Reserved category candidates and candidates from special categories mentioned in the official notification shall need to pay Rs. 250 only for the application fees. The payment can be made both through online and offline mode.

RRB Level 1 Application Process

  1. Apply for the available RRB Level 1 vacancies online
  2. Fill in the application form with all the necessary details
  3. Enter a valid mobile number and email ID for further communication and also the receive the e-admit card
  4. Upload recent colored photograph and clear signature to complete the application
  5. Pay the required fees through credit/debit card, net banking or through offline mode’
  6. Once your application is over, wait for the e-admit card to arrive

RRB Level 1 Syllabus

The RRB Level 1 syllabus will contain questions from the sections mentioned under “RRB Exam Pattern”. All the sections are equally important and require candidates to prepare for them well.   • General Intelligence and Reasoning Analogies- Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
  • General Science- The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of the 10th standard level (CBSE).
  • General Awareness on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subject of importance
